My Mom passed away on January 17, 2021. I was tasked with taking care of all the arrangements. The first funeral home I called was over-booked and declined their services. Next call I made was to Stockton Funeral Home. Jose Ayala gladly accepted my Mom and quickly went through options and costs. He arranged to have my Mom picked up from the hospital as soon as they could release her. He scrambled to get her cremated in a reasonable time, considering backlog due to many deaths, and quickly answered questions I had either by phone or text. His wife, Vicky, was also very helpful through the entire process. The prayer cards were great as well as the memorial book. The arrangement they prepared for Mom's services looked excellent - it brought tears to my eyes! They had easels for the two large poster board picture collages I made. They were able to show pictures of Mom (I provided them on a thumb drive) on their big screen at the front of the chapel. Another great added bonus was their ability to stream live to their Facebook page for those that could not make it. My family and friends were very happy about that. Also, after the Rosary, readings and eulogy, Jose Jr helped me play Mom's favorite songs on the chapel speakers through Bluetooth. We are so happy that we decided to go with valley funeral home ! After so long of being lied to and add on cost from other funeral homes , i spoke with jose on the phone and i knew rite then he was the one , went there him and his family made me feel so comfortable with one of my best friends passing and rhondas brother it was stressful enough but she was in a different state and i was here where he passed thought that was going to make things hard but within a hour if not less jose had us taking care of " this family REALLY cares about you not just your business they are number one to us if u want things done rite and easy and reasonable prices dont bother looking for anyone just come here ! They got things done so we can finally sit down to grieve for our loved one thank you jose and family very very much

I thank God for directing me to this funeral home. I live in Southern California and not being able to make arrangements for my cousin in person was going to be difficult. My family chose this place for my nephews funeral because the owner Jose, his son and his wife are good people and very accommodating. He didn’t nickel and dime us and he went the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed throughout the 2 days we were there. He thought of everything and all the little details are what made the difference such as the obituary on his website, folders to pass out during the service, live video for family and friends to be able to watch the service who couldn’t be there. We felt at home there my nephew would have loved it there it was so intimate but also open with all the different rooms the family was able to use. Thank you to Jose and his family for welcoming our family and making our first funeral experience as good as it could have gone. I highly recommend this place for any family who are in need of services.

Can’t say it enough how thankful I am for my friends and family that came through. We felt the love and sincerity of every one. We can’t express how blessed and grateful we are. God bless everyone and the Jose Ayala for the amazing services they provided us. This week was difficult but they made us feel like family. The spiritual Native American Service gave us comfort and the healing we needed to close the services last night. I still feel at peace. Amazing can’t say enough about the service. Jose thank you for everything you and your wife did for my family, our dad's death was so sudden but you where so kind and caring from the start and helped us through every step. You made this tough time so much easier and when we needed a moment to grieve you gave us that moment. Thank you dose not begin to express how thankful I am for all Jose has done for my family when my mother died. We did not have money to cover her cremation.
My mom had some money but not enough to cover the corner fee and the cremation. The state was willing to take care of it for us, but , we would not be able to get my moms ashes, They would take the money she had but we would have to come up with all the money to cover everything with in one year to get my moms ashes. That was hard to hear. The sheriff gave me the option to find a place to take care of mom and they would return moms money, My brother and I had been trying to find a place that we could afforded but it seemed impossible. . It was a Friday and after business ours when I was put in tough with Jose; and from that first conversation he helped me with everything. He patently lessened to me when I explained the dilemma. He worked with me every step of the way. Not only was he willing to take care of mom, he did so before he received an of the money. There was a lot of paper work involved in my moms case do to the circumstances of her death. From the first conversation and all the ones since Jose has treated my mom as if she was one of his family members. I hole heartily thank you for all you have done and are still doing for my family. You gave me and my family peace, knowing that our mother is now cared for. thank you, thank you so very much

We hired Valley Funeral Home Stockton when my father passed. When he passed they went right and picked my father up. As we all know no one is truly prepared when it comes to the lost of a love one,My Aunt had past away on March 9th 2018 and it was something she didnt plan or could save for my aunt was in financial debit. So you could only imagine are worries so I called around and looked on line for reasonable rates and got two calls back one from a lady who couldn't do nothing until they was given a deposit a second call from Mr Ayala and I asked how much in total cause we had little funds to work with honestly none.He said don't worry about that you can pay me in a few days ,There are no words to describe or express how grateful we are for the Mr Ayala not only reasonable but sincerely understanding at a difficult time if it wasn't for him I don't know what we do,if your reading this to help you decide if you should place your Loveone's with this funeral home I strongly recommend you stop looking and know that you found the right place here god bless you Mr Ayala and your family and the valley funeral home.
