Richard went to the Lord on March 19, 2025. He was born in Bakersfield, CA on December 24, 1952 and moved to Stockton, CA in his teens graduating from Stagg High School. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving in Germany for four years, subsequently living in New York for about 20 years. Married and divorced, returned to Stockton in his forties where he was employed by Mission Electric and then as a Security Guard for many years. He loved our family gatherings and loved his family.
His hobbies were fishing, and wood working. He was very artistic, creating beautiful mini structures and wood sculpting.
He is preceded in death by parents: Ricardo and Carmen Murillo, and one brother Robert Murillo. He is survived by five siblings:
Rebecca Herrera (Robert); Martha Montero, Armando Murillo (Maria); Pia Margaret Zamora and Jesi Steiber (Paul), Nephews: Robert Jr., Richard, Stephen and Marcos and his great nephews and nieces: Rebecca, Robert III, Isaac, Isabella, Benjamin, Abigail, Olivia, Violet, Victoria and Alex
