Lupe Ramos Obituary

Lupe Ramos was born in Romita, Guanajuato México on February 8, 1950 to Eloísa Rodríguez Farías and Salvador Araujo Farías. She was the second eldest of 8 siblings. Her family migrated to the United States when she was 11 years old. Lupe continued to excel in academics and graduated with Honors from Dolores High School in San Francisco in 1968. She continued her education at Heald College where she received her Associates in Science in Accounting. 

Lupe married Ruben David Ramos at age 20, and was blessed with 3 daughters: Fabiola, Ruby and Lupita.

Lupe was a very independent, dedicated, hard worker.  She was very proud of her catholic upbringing and her Mexican  Ethnicity.  She enjoyed many jobs in the accounting field, however, none of them brought her as much joy as working for Avon as a Manager. Lupe enjoyed meeting new people, building new friendships, having her weekly meetings, and traveling to her annual sales conference that took her around the country. 

Lupe's grandchildren were her pride and joy.  Lupe had six grandchildren: Jesse, Audley, Miguel, Sean, Alizay and Maya.  She enjoyed attending all their school activities and sporting events and being their #1 Fan! (and Yes, she was really loud!) She enjoyed talking about basketball and  soccer with them, especially when she watched her Golden State Warriors (she was a huge Steph Curry fan!) and her Mexican Soccer teams which represented her culture and pride in the World Cup.  She was so proud of being Mexican that she enjoyed sharing stories with her grandchildren about her childhood and how great Mexico was.

Lupe enjoyed cooking and baking classic dishes for her grandchildren such as; enchiladas, quesadillas, tacos, tostadas, sopes, enfrijoladas, entomatadas, milanesa, steak and potatoes or baking during the holidays; cakes, cookies, empanadas or tamales. 

Lupe passed away on November 25, 2019, surrounded by her daughters, grandkids, family and friends at her residence.  May she rest in everlasting peace and comfort with our Lord Jesus Christ. She will be forever in our hearts.
