Eric Aubin Cancilla

Eric Cancilla was born on August 22nd, 1997, in San Jose at Valley Medical Center to parents Elizabeth Olivo and Freddy Dearborn. Eric was later adopted by his maternal Aunt Pamela Aubin and Uncle Ross Aubin in 2005 and then came to live with his Aunt Jeannette and Uncle Fil Elle in 2011. Eric attended Toyon Middle School and then Calaveras High School where he played Football and wrestled for the Redskins. Eric graduated from high school in June of 2015 and enrolled as a student at Colombia Junior College. Eric completed his nations registry as an Emergency medical technician in August 2017 and then graduated with his associate degree in fire science from Columbia Junior College in April 2018. After that Eric had the opportunity to work for many amazing companies like Calaveras Consolidated Fire, American medical response (AMR), Cal Fire, and Lodi Memorial. Eric is survived by his parents Elizabeth Olivo, Freddy Dearborn, Jeannette and Fil Elle, his siblings Junior Olivo, Thomas Riley, Jacob Labuguen, Tyler Sandoval, Anna Olivo, Athena Labuguen, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Eric was preceded in death by his adopted parents Pam and Ross Aubin, sister Heavenly Labuguen, brother Antonio Cancilla and Grandmother Geraldine Walker. Eric’s graveside services will be held in Mountain Ranch Ca. at the cemetery with a celebration of life directly following at the Mountain Ranch Town Hall on November 18th, 2023.
