Devin Anthony Perkins

Devin Anthony Perkins passed away tragically and unexpectedly on the 11th of October, 2022. Born on April 25, 1995, Devin spent every one of his 27 years filled with light, love and laughter. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laugh that encompassed his entire body. Devin was a smart, thoughtful, funny, sweet, and free spirited soul. Devin had an unending passion for music and drumming and loved to share music with others. Devin’s thoughtful, gentle, and perpetual kindness meant that he never met a stranger. He had a habit of going out of his way to make people feel heard, and never hesitated to help anyone. To his loved ones, Devin was synonymous with the joy and happiness that he brought to everyone around him. Devin loved his family more than anything, and always valued any time that he could spend with them, especially his two younger brothers, Zach and Gabe. Devin was so well loved and cherished by his family and friends. Even in the darkest moments Devin saw light and positivity and he shared it with everyone who was lucky enough to meet him. Devin is survived by his parents, Dale and Mary, his brothers, Zach and Gabe, his sister, Jacie, his niece, Scarlett, his grandmother, Rozanne, his aunts, Beth, Meredith, Alana and Diana, along with countless family and friends who will forever be impacted by the sudden loss of the beautiful person that Devin was. “Who cares if one more light goes out?
