Charles Edgerly Obituary

Charles Ray Edgerly (Papa Chuck) entered into rest on July 1st, 2018 in French Camp, California.  Papa Chuck was born on March 23, 1929 to the late Raymond and Isabel Edgerly in Whittier California.  He had one sister Leila Edgerly (deceased).   Papa Chuck married Rosalynn (Gee Gee) Bibo in 1952 had two sons, Steven Edgerly and Ronald Edgerly (deceased).  He then met and married the late Yvonne Guzman.  After Yvonne’s passing he wasn’t ready to be alone, so long time friend Judy Padilla (deceased) became his loving girlfriend. 

He served in the US Army during the Korean War.  Papa Chuck was a heavy equipment operator for H.C. Muddux and Pacific Clay Products.  He enjoyed his spare time, spending time with family, camping with Yvonne, bowling, and watching NASCAR racing. 

Papa Chuck is survived by his son Steven Edgerly, daughter in law Correen Edgerly.  Grandchildren Stephanie, Gina and Brett Edgerly.  Step Grandchildren Rodney, Nicole and Paige Woodard. Step Great Grandchildren Haley and Eveie Woodard, and Fantasia and Lela Munoz. He also survived by nieces Deanne Dias, Raquel Dias, Danette Wheeler, Kathy Cowen, Bonnie Anderson and Shelly Agungeds, as well as many friends.

He will be dearly missed by all.

A Celebration of life will be held at West Lane Bowl 3900 West Lane, Stockton California on September 23rd at 2pm.
