Named after the month and time of day she was born, April Dawn always stood out in a crowd. While blessed with her beautiful golden hair, stunning blue eyes, & as her mother-in-law Josie Flores would tell her, “Those damn good sexy legs!”, it was her heart that stood out the most. She never turned away any person or animal. Everyone was treated like family, and no matter where she lived she made it a home for so many. She loved being outdoors, swimming, camping, dancing, driving on an open highway, wind blowing through her hair & music turned all the way up so that everyone could hear. And books, she absolutely loved getting lost in her books. One of her moto's was, “You gotta make the best with what you've got” and she did just that. If she didn't have it, she could figure out how to make something to get the job done. She had many talents, and many achievements, but her greatest accomplishment was her love and devotion to her family. She gave & gave, without asking for anything in return other than to “Make sure you pay it forward". In her words, "Remember God doesn't expect you to be perfect, it's ok if you make mistakes sometimes. God knows your heart. And as long as your heart is full of love, you've got nothing to worry about." April Dawn Lee Flores if you could only see yourself through our eyes. Your warmth, laughter, and caring nature will be deeply missed by everyone that you leave behind.
