Obituary

Robert Dallas Thomas was born on May 18, 1961 in Stockton, California to the proud parents Robert Thomas and Marjorie George-Thomas. He was the second oldest of four children Derrick, Robert, Terri and Toni.  He was endearingly called Dallas by his close friends and family. He was always well dressed and groomed well and will be best remembered for being a person with a kind and gently heart. 

Dallas was a respectful and loving person. He knew the Lord Jesus Christ from an early age and was associated with the Power House Mission Church of God in Christ, Stockton, CA. He  attended Stagg High School in Stockton, CA then continued progressing in life  and served his country in the United States Marines and earned an honorable discharge in 1985. He successfully worked in customer service and the industrial field for a living. He loved his family and enjoyed reading, fishing, helping others as he was a people person. 

Dallas was the proud father of four children Robert, Chautauqua, Robert “Lil Dallas” and Marjorie. Additionally he was a proud grandfather as well. His family enriched his life. He loved them and they loved him even more.

Dallas departed this life on October 7, 2018.  He will be greatly missed by many. He was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Thomas; his brothers Derrick Thomas and Fredrick Thomas; and his grandparents Mack & Honey George and Hannah Wheat. 

ROBERT DALLAS THOMAS leaves to cherish his loving memory, his beloved Mother Marjorie Thomas of Stockton, CA, his children Robert Thomas, Chautauqua Fisher, Robert “Lil Dallas” Thomas and Marjorie Thomas all of Stockton, CA, and Keisha Potter who he raised as his own daughter; his siblings Terri Thomas of Apple Valley, CA, and Toni Thomas of Stockton, CA; half siblings Donna Faye Thomas of Houston, TX, Dwight Thomas, Stacie Thomas and Erika Thomas all of Stockton, CA; his grandchildren; his favorite aunt and uncle, Viola Washington and Mack George and a host of relatives and friends.
