Larry Duane Shaddox, 64, of Campbell, CA, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2020, at his home in Modesto, CA.
A celebration of his life will be held in his honor on Sunday, February 2, 2020, from 11 am to 2:00 pm at The Campbell Community Center in the Roosevelt Room: 1 W Campbell Ave. RM Q-80, Campbell CA., 95008. All are invited to celebrate his life and share their memories. The family is asking if you can to bring a side dish & memories to share.
Larry was born in Campbell, Ca to Wayne and Frances Shaddox on September 5, 1955. Where he was raised and lived most of his adult life. He was the father of two daughters. He spent the last 25 years of his life with his wife Doreen. He worked in the labor field for most of his life. The majority of the time working with his best friend Darell at Old Style Tile as an installer.
Larry was a life long hardcore Raiders and A’s fan. He was a member of the ECV-Clampers. In his early years, he enjoyed restoring and riding motorcycles. Larry enjoyed playing darts with his wife and friends, he was part of a dart league. Larry loved camping, he always looked forward to his annual family camping trips, an 18 yr tradition. He loved his family, enjoyed life, and lived it to the fullest with no regrets. Larry lived his life on his own terms, anyone that knew him could truly say he lived his life his way.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Frances Shaddox. His sister Susan Thompson and brother Doug Shaddox.
Larry is survived by wife Doreen Barrera. His daughters and son-in-laws Nicole & Francisco Shaddox-Ramos and Shantell & Chris Shaddox-Ruud. His step-daughter and her husband Melissa & David Ledesma. His granddaughter Samantha and grandson Larry. His sister Candy Walters.
