Gregory "Dallas" Simpson
Born April 24, 1948 in Danville Kentucky. He went to Heaven April 7, 2019 with his family by his side. 
Dallas was born to Tunis Simpson of Kentucky and Ruth Polston Simpson of Tennesse, April 24, 1948. Dallas was the middle child, the 3rd of 5 children.  He leaves behind his brother, Charles Simpson and his sister Cathy Bowles, along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. He is now at peace with his parents, Tunis & Ruth Simpson, and his sisters, Libby Johnson and Brenda Simpson. 
Dallas moved to California in the early 1970's where he met Diane Childress of Stockton.They were married October 3, 1975 in Stockton California at The Fremont Church Of The Nazarene. They raised their 3 children, Heather Simpson Ferido, Allen Gregory Simpson and Ryan Wesley Simpson in Stockton California.
Dallas was a hard working man. He worked for many years at different Lumber/Saw Mills in Stockton, one of them being Haley Brothers Inc Saw Mill. He also did Janitorial work on the Base at Rough and Ready Island for a number of years. Dallas loved being outdoors, whether it being doing yard work, playing with his beloved dogs ( Bear & Jojo) or just tinkering around with his lawn mower. He also enjoyed spending time with his children at the park and occasional trips to the lake. Dallas also enjoyed music of all genres. Elvis being one of his absolute favorites. He had quite the singing voice. His aunts and sisters would always say how good he could sing and would always get him to sing for everyone. You could guarantee he would have his radio on, playing his cassette tapes every chance he got, and you could hear him singing along with every single song. 
Unfortunately, the relationship between Dallas and Diane faltered, resulting in Divorce, with Dallas returning to Ohio in 1999. 
In March of 2012, Dallas returned back to California after being diagnosed with Dementia, along with other health problems. He lived with his Daughter Heather and Son-in-law Donald, along with their 6 children (his grandchildren).
Dallas was loved, and will be missed by so many. He lived his remaining days with his Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren by his side.
